Hemp Food Products That You Can Buy Today To Boost Your Health

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I consume cannabis every day.

For breakfast.

Sometimes for lunch and dinner too.

My snacks include cannabis and so do my midnight munchies.

I also drink a lot of cannabis-based beverages and have sweet treats made of this wonder food too.

No, I am not a drug addict.

I am just like you — a regular individual with an ordinary life.

But just because I consume cannabis, my children and grandchildren will think of me with great respect and admiration.

Absurd?

Well, let me put it this way…

I consume hemp-based food products every day. And because I make use of a high yield, sustainable and regenerative food crop, I am contributing towards reversing climate change and global warming. And because I am all doing all of that, the coming generations would not have to deal with the mess that you, me, and our ancestors created.

Also, hemp is super healthy, so it is good for me too. It is loaded with vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that keep my immune system strong, my heart-healthy, and even my cholesterol and blood pressure in control. It has omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids as well.

Hemp, a close cousin of marijuana, is often considered illegal, unethical, and definitely not something ‘good’ people consume.

But hemp and marijuana are two different things. They both belong to the cannabis community, but hemp isn’t psychoactive. It has a THC content of 0.3% or less. This makes it perfectly legal and extremely healthy.

It won’t give you a high.

Better health, good vibes, nutrition and taste, and a brighter future – that’s what hemp gives you.

To make sure you get all that hemp has on offer, here are four categories of hemp-based food products that you can buy off of local stores and online shops and boost your health.

  1. Hemp Basics

Basic hemp food items for everyday consumption and prolonged good health.

The most commonly used and versatile products that are easy to add to your diet.

Seed

Hemp seeds, also called hemp hearts, are among the most nutritious foods available in nature. And when Mother Nature gives you its choicest blessings, you simply don’t say no to that.

What you do is, add it to as many recipes as you can.

An excellent source of vegetarian protein, it also helps those struggling with immune deficiency disease.  It also keeps your cholesterol under control.

A complete healthy diet on its own, hemp seeds can be added to smoothies, shakes, oatmeal, yogurt, on top of salads, or have it just straight out of the bag. The tastiest way to get all your nutritional needs fulfilled.

I start my day with hemp hearts, and I would be lying if I say I didn’t enjoy popping the seeds from the bag into my mouth. They are tasty. And what makes it better is that I know how healthy they are for me.

  • Oils

Hemp offers more than one oil for dietary use. The hemp oil and the hemp seed oil are both rich in nutrients and good for your mind, body, and soul.

The unrefined hemp seed oil is also often called ‘nature’s most perfectly balanced oil’ due to a large number of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that it has.

Hemp seed oil is used mostly as a salad dressing to make a healthy salad healthier (and tastier).

Hemp oil, on the other hand, is often used in soups. And you can also use it directly on your skin for a moisturizing effect. Using it as a supplement also helps get rid of dandruff and itchy scalp.

  1. Hemp Supplements

For when you need something extra from hemp.

Whether you are a gym freak or not, these hemp products will make you strong and healthy.

Then there is the nutty, earthy taste of hemp, which is the perfect way to make your smoothies and shakes healthier and better tasting.
