Instructions

Making the BBQ jackfruit

  1. Clean and rinse the green jackfruit and keep it in a colander. Remove the core of the jackfruit from the fleshy part and dispose of it, keeping the string portion intact.
  2. Take a bowl and mix garlic powder, cumin, cayenne powder, chili powder, and coconut sugar. Toss the jackfruit flesh to coat it with the mixture,
  3. Put an iron skillet over medium heat and saute the marinated jackfruit flesh on it for 3 to 5 minutes roasting the spices
